Dining Room Update!
Well, the dining room is painted! It took a long time, unfortunately, but it looks lovely if I do say so myself. The color is called Sea Port by Valspar. not to be confused with Seaport by Valspar. I went to get another gallon of paint from Lowes, and I walked to the counter and ordered it. When it was mixed, and the paint guy put that little dab on the lid, I was like, uh, that is NOT the right color. It was a very bright blue. Think Dr. Suess red fish blue fish blue. So the guy got the paint chip card and showed me that it was Seaport. And I said, oh, I meant Sea space Port. I didn't realize Valspar would be so desperate for color names that they would actually use the same name twice, distinguishing the two colors only by a space. So, paint crisis over, I rolled on my second coat, painted all the trim Behr Ultra Pure White in Semi-Gloss, and then put everything back in the room.
